Hey there, wonderful people!
How’s the week going for everyone? I have been trying to write this post for last 3 days and really hoping today, i.e. day 4, I somehow manage to publish this post. With two unwell babies, guests at home and the usual daily grind of ‘wifedom’ and motherhood, finding time to write is a supremely daunting task. Let’s leave ranting on this touchy mommy topic for another day. Today, I want to talk about this little tub of minty goo which has been a blessing for my skin dryness this winter.
You see, I am one of those people who manage to take a shower every day come what may, but spending another 5 minutes slathering a moisturizing body lotion on my entire body just doesn’t happen for me. Come on, I am a mom of two utterly cute yet astonishingly demanding boys. I don’t have the luxury of performing a daily cleaning ritual that lasts longer than 10 minutes.
As I don’t use a body lotion regularly, I have been suffering from dry and itchy skin since the onset of the winter season. Skin dryness becomes worse with hot showers yet sadly, standing under running hot water, contemplating my life is the one thing I am not ready to forego.
Anyways, on one of my trips to LUSH store at Citywalk, I saw this jar of in-shower body conditioner that looked quite interesting. I am already a huge fan of LUSH products. I find them charmingly creative and beautifully crafted. Moreso, they are made with fresh natural ingredients and Oh My God, they smell divine. Like the whole store and every single product in it tingles your senses with all kinds of heavenly fragrances. Don’t you agree?
I bought this Mintingle body conditioner only because I thought it was worth giving a try if it can help me take care of skin dryness. Fast forward three weeks, I am in love with this body conditioner. It has worked wonders for my skin and it smells so damn good. Made with Murumuru Butter, Shea Butter, Peppermint Oil and Grapefruit oil, this body conditioner is super good for your skin as well as your senses. I thought a product this good must be recommended to more people so here I am talking about it and sincerely encourage you to go give it a try.
Don’t worry if Peppermint is not your fragrance of choice. They have some other very interesting options as well. For now, I take my leave as Baby no.1 is awake from his nap and is requesting for a snack and Baby no. 2 is soon to cry for his umpteenth bottle of milk.
You guys enjoy your day. Stay happy and be thankful for all these blessings in your life. Until next time.
